| | Comments:41 minutes and 42 seconds of audio ecstasy! The ultimate Level 42 collector's item, a pair of production-ready mastertapes for the elusive Strategy LP. On two reels of multi-track tape (one Scotch branded, the other Ampex) and housed in two cardboard boxes with The Playground studio label and handwritten details. Interesting details are client is Elite Records, Tape 1 mastering logo is present and Theme To Margaret is titled Theme FOR Margaret. Who's Margaret anyway? The date on the boxes is 1/4/82. In my opinion these tapes are more valuable than the vinyl pressing of Strategy (of which there are only 6). |
